Tooth enamel protects your teeth – but it isn’t indestructible. Over time, it wears away. Bioniq® rebuilds damaged tooth enamel and helps protect against tooth decay and gum problems.

Damage to tooth enamel isn’t always obvious at first glance. The symptoms are varied and are often attributed to other causes – yet teeth often send clear signals at an early stage. If you spot these signs in time, you can take targeted action to counteract the problem.

    Sensitive teeth

    When tooth enamel is damaged, the nerve channels underneath in the tooth are exposed. These pass on stimuli, such as cold, heat or pressure, directly and cause the typical sudden, sharp pain.

    Yellowish teeth

    When tooth enamel becomes thinner, the yellowish dentine underneath shows through – the teeth appear less white and may look slightly translucent, especially around the edges.

    Enamel caries

    Tooth decay can also be a sign of weakened enamel. In an early stage, known as initial caries, no visible cavity has yet formed. However, if left untreated, it can develop into one.
